In this year, themed «Independent neutral Turkmenistan − the homeland of purposeful winged horses», our people are approaching the glorious 35th anniversary of Independence with great enthusiasm. Thanks to the labor achievements of our people, this date is a celebration of sustainable development and prosperity. Under the wise leadership of our esteemed President, grand projects aimed at strengthening the economic power of our state, elevating its international prestige, and developing human capital are systematically implemented. The future of a powerful state lies in comprehensively healthy and well-rounded generations, and important work is consistently carried out in this direction. As a result, the youth receive modern education by relying on the spiritual and cultural heritage of the older generation. Caring for the high spiritual and physical health of the generation is the state's most reliable investment for the future.

In the age of digital technologies, the effective use of modern capabilities in educational work is an essential requirement for teachers, and today the main task of the education system is to raise a generation that thinks creatively and navigates confidently in a rapidly changing world. Currently, preparations for the new academic year are continuing at a rapid pace: renovation works have been carried out in all educational institutions, study plans have been drawn up in accordance with national principles, and new textbooks and manuals have been published. School markets have been organized to supply students with necessary learning materials, as well as school and sports uniforms.

Additionally, large-scale events are planned to mark Knowledge and Students' Day celebrated on September 1. Among them, a special place will be dedicated to the grand opening of new building complexes for the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute in our capital and the Seyitnazar Seydi Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute in Turkmenabat. More than 18,000 young people are expected to become university students this academic year. This is 1,239 more students compared to last year. Furthermore, in line with modern global demands, a total of 20 new majors have been introduced at our country's higher education institutions, offering advanced instruction in these fields.

Currently, schoolchildren are spending their time productively at health and recreation centers in Gokdere and the "Avaza" National Tourist Zone, gathering strength for the new academic year. The fact that our school and university students won 992 medals at international subject and online olympiads in the first half of this year inspires great confidence that they will continue these winning traditions in the new academic year. Presenting educational computers as gifts to first-grade students at general secondary schools has become a wonderful tradition in our country. This year as well, all first-graders will receive these valuable gifts on behalf of our Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar in a festive setting. For the happiness of children is the happiness of our future.

Hemra Aramedov,

Honored Worker of Education of Turkmenistan.
