Over the first two months of this year, volunteers of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan conducted an educational campaign on the rules of first aid among primary school children in Ashgabat.
The goal of the campaign was to ensure that primary school children knew the algorithm for providing first aid and could apply it in various situations: in case of burns, bruises, nosebleeds and other cases.
In total, more than 1,500 schoolchildren (from grades 1 to 5) were trained on topics such as cuts, nosebleeds, burns, bruises, and the skill of calling an ambulance.
The campaign was attended by 32 volunteers from Ashgabat and Ahal velayat, who had previously completed a full course in providing first aid and were trained as instructors.
