A creative competition has been announced in honor of Ashgabat City Day, which is annually celebrated on May 25.

The organizers of the competition are the editorial office of the Ashgabat newspaper together with the Ashgabat city administration, the Ashgabat city committee of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan, and the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Makhtumkuli.

The competition accepts previously unpublished articles, poems about the beauty of Ashgabat, photographs and photo collages that capture the magnificence of the Turkmen capital, reports Turkmenistan: Golden Age.

Anyone can take part in the competition.

Entries for the competition must be sent to the editorial office of the Ashgabat newspaper by May 15, indicating in the letter: "For the competition "Arkadagly Gahryman Serdarly ak şäherim Aşgabat!"

The names of the winners will be announced on City Day; their works will be published in the Ashgabat newspaper.
