An exhibition showcasing around 600 works by schoolchildren of the Children's art school in Mary city has opened at the Exhibition center of the Ministry of culture of Turkmenistan.
According to “Turkmenistan: Golden age”, the exhibition features paintings, sculptures, ceramics, and tapestries.
Several students expressed their love for their school through artworks created using graphics, monochrome techniques, and ballpoint pen drawings. One of the ballpoint pen artworks was particularly unique: it was drawn from a single point without lifting the pen from the paper until the line returned to its starting position.
According to the school director, the curriculum covers four main disciplines: painting, sculpture, ceramics, and carpet weaving. Special hopes are placed on 25 pupils.
