Apple is preparing to release the iPhone 17 Air, the thinnest smartphone in the company's history.
According to leaks, the smartphone will receive only one main camera, one speaker, and a less powerful A19 chip instead of the A19 Pro, which will go to the older versions.
Experts fear that the thin case may affect autonomy, but Apple may compensate for this with a high-density battery, an energy-efficient C1 modem, and an enlarged battery due to the rejection of the Ultra Wide module.
Expected iPhone 17 Air specs:
• 5.5mm thick (up to 9.5mm with camera bump)
• 6.6-inch OLED display with Face ID and Dynamic Island
• ProMotion support, refresh rate up to 120Hz
• A19 chip, 8GB RAM for Apple Intelligence
• Single 48MP camera, front — 24MP
• Single speaker in the conversational module
• Proprietary Wi-Fi 7 and Apple C1 modem
• eSIM only, no physical SIM
• Off-center USB-C.
