Apple will release a redesigned version of Siri with artificial intelligence based on the GPT model this fall. Previously, the company planned to postpone the release to 2026, but now the deadline has been revised, the New York Times notes.
The updated voice assistant, called Personalized Siri, may be presented simultaneously with the iPhone 17 lineup. This, according to analysts, will help stimulate demand for new devices.
The reason for the accelerated release was increased competition in the field of AI. Many technologies announced by Apple have not yet been implemented, while other companies are already actively developing similar functions.
Personalized Siri is expected to be part of iOS 19. This version of the operating system will include large-scale visual changes inspired by the visionOS interface. The new voice assistant may be an additional plus to the update.
