Today, March 29, 2025, the city of Arkadag hosted the international conference “Year of Peace and Trust: Development of international activities for the sake of children”. The event was organized by the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assisting Children in Need of Guardianship and was timed ti its 4th anniversary. This was reported by IIC of Turkmenistan.

The conference brought together representatives of government and public institutions from foreign countries, as well as international organizations engaged in humanitarian and social activities. The key topics discussed included healthcare, medical assistance, education for children and adolescents, and climate change issues.

This forum was part of a series of events dedicated to the UN-declared International Year of Peace and Trust and aimed at strengthening international cooperation in the humanitarian sphere.

As a result of the conference, a final document was adopted, emphasizing the need to consolidate international efforts to ensure the well-being and protection of children's rights.
