Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Islamabad Atajan Movlamov met with the Federal Minister of Finance and Revenue of Pakistan, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb on August 11. The parties paid special attention to the development of bilateral cooperation in the financial and economic sphere.

The interlocutors spoke in favor of further deepening the partnership aimed at implementing mutually beneficial projects and initiatives. They also considered the possibility of accelerating the implementation of the TAPI project, as well as expanding trade and economic ties, stimulating mutual investment and creating favorable conditions for business activity.

Following the meeting, Movlamov and Aurangzeb confirmed their mutual commitment to developing a fruitful partnership, expressing confidence that the implementation of joint initiatives will contribute to sustainable socio-economic growth and strengthen mutually beneficial ties between Turkmenistan and Pakistan.
