A large-scale international forum was held in the capital of Turkmenistan. From October 10 to 12, the spacious halls of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted the International Exhibition and Scientific Conference titled “Healthcare, Education and Sports in the Era of the Revival of a New Epoch of a Powerful State,” dedicated to the Day of Healthcare Workers, reports a Takyk correspondent.
The event brought together representatives of leading specialized companies, doctors, and experts from 40 countries. The ceremonial opening of the Ashgabat exhibition was attended by members of the government, heads of diplomatic missions, international and public organizations, journalists, and students.
The exhibition served as a tangible demonstration of Turkmenistan’s achievements in integrating modern medical solutions. It became evident that the country has strengthened its position as a center of international cooperation. The exhibition stands featured advanced technologies from global companies.
Among them were the latest X-ray equipment from Siemens Healthineers, diagnostic tools from Seda Medical, genetic research instruments from Illumina (USA), cutting-edge dialysis innovations from Fresenius Medical Care (Germany), and new pharmaceutical products from global leaders such as Roche, Sandoz (Switzerland), Sanofi (France), Krka (Slovenia), Gedeon Richter (Hungary), and others.
One of the highlights of Turkmenistan’s medical achievements was the presentation by the Charitable Foundation named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, which, in a short time, has carried out a significant volume of humanitarian work, and the company Arkadag Medisina Klasteri Menejment, which manufactures medical products that meet the highest environmental standards. Products under this brand have already gained international recognition.
Equally impressive were the stands of the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports, adorned with trophies and medals won by Turkmen athletes in international competitions. These displays clearly showed that Turkmen sports have earned a respectable place on the global stage, having reached a completely new level.
The exhibition also featured a scientific conference, where renowned professors of medical sciences from Turkmenistan, Germany, Russia, and Uzbekistan gave presentations. Their reports covered topics such as the priorities in modernizing healthcare structures, the indispensable role of a healthy lifestyle, the promotion of family medicine values, and the ongoing enrichment of modern doctors’ knowledge in light of scientific advancements.
Foreign delegates unanimously emphasized that building bridges of constructive cooperation for experience-sharing with leading specialists from Europe and Asia significantly simplifies the search for effective solutions within the global healthcare system.
As a result of the scientific forum, a substantial package of international documents was signed, regulating academic and scientific collaboration between Turkmen universities in the fields of healthcare and education. In total, eight memorandums and agreements were concluded with universities from the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Vietnam, Georgia, and Azerbaijan. Additionally, important documents were signed with UN agencies such as UNFPA and UNICEF.
Thus, the successful industry-specific forum held in Ashgabat once again demonstrated Turkmenistan’s commitment to developing national education, healthcare, and sports through broad-format international cooperation.
