The airline Belavia has announced a temporary transfer of its flights from Turkmenbashi International Airport to Balkanabat International Airport. The changes will take effect from May 20 and will continue until July 25, 2025. During this period, all flights on the Minsk–Turkmenbashi–Minsk route will be operated through the airport located near the village of Jebel in Balkan velayat.
Passengers who already have tickets for the Minsk–Turkmenbashi–Minsk flights do not need to reissue them. The company has sent SMS notifications and emails to all passengers in advance with information about the change in departure and arrival airports.
The flight schedule during the temporary transfer includes regular flights twice a week. On Tuesdays, flight No. 745 Minsk–Balkanabat will depart at 23:50 and arrive at 06:05 the next day. The return flight No. 746 Balkanabat–Minsk is scheduled for Wednesdays, departing at 06:55 and arriving at 09:15. Sunday flight times will vary depending on the specific period.
