On September 26, a gala event and exhibition were held in London, organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the United Kingdom.
The celebratory event was attended by Turkmen students studying at UK universities, Turkmen citizens living in London, representatives of the Galkynysh branch of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World in the UK, and representatives of the Embassy.
During the event, Turkmenistan's Ambassador Yazmurad Seryayev emphasized the significance of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality and the representative forum scheduled for December 2025 in Ashgabat. Other key international events held in the country in honor of the International Year of Peace and Trust were also touched upon.
The event included an exhibition of books dedicated to Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality and modern achievements, as well as a photo exhibition highlighting the country's national successes. Guests were shown a video about Turkmenistan's development. A performance of Turkmen folk songs on the national musical instrument, the dutar, drew particular applause.
