As part of the state program for modernizing the driver training system, two new driving schools have opened in the cities of Balkanabat and Dashoguz. These facilities represent another step toward improving the professional training of drivers. This was reported by Turkmenistan's regional newspapers.

The training center in Balkanabat was built by the Ashgabat-based company Demirbetonönümleri of the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production on an area of more than five hectares. It includes ten classrooms equipped with computers and multimedia technology, specialized rooms for remote vehicle control, as well as a modern satellite-based monitoring system. Using GPS devices, it is possible to track the actions of trainees in real time and maintain their training statistics.

The classrooms and workspaces are furnished with modern equipment, communication systems, and everything necessary for effective training and the work of the instructors.

During the opening ceremony, distinguished construction workers were presented with gifts on behalf of the head of state, and the vehicle fleet of the regional branch of the Driving School Association under the “Turkmenavtoulaglary” agency was expanded with new cars.

The new training center in Dashoguz is located on Oguzhan Avenue. The complex, equipped with modern facilities and its own training ground, is intended for training drivers of all categories.

Earlier, ceremonial openings of new driving test tracks were held in the Lebap and Mary regions of Turkmenistan.
