On the occasion of the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree awarding the honorary title “Hormatly il ýaşulusy” ("Honored Elder of the Nation") to citizens who have made significant contributions to strengthening the country’s independence, preserving national traditions, and educating the younger generation.

The Head of State decreed that the honorary title of “Hormatly il ýaşulusy” of Turkmenistan be conferred upon the following citizens:

• Deryageldi Nuryyevich Orazov, Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of Arkadag City under the President of Turkmenistan;
• Annaberdi Gulmyradov, Head of the Practical Training Department of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports;
• Sadyk Nepesovich Sakhetov, Chief Imam of the "Hezreti Osman" Mosque in Ashgabat, under the Office of the Mufti of Turkmenistan;
• Orazguly Karatayev, a resident of Kopetdag District in Ashgabat, retired;
• Charygeldi Ashyrov, Deputy Director for Administrative Affairs of Secondary School No. 22 of the Geoktepe District in Ahal Province, under the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan;
• Saparmyrat Dzhotdyev, Bacteriologist of the Tejen District Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of Ahal Province, under the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan;
• Tagandurdy Tekayevich Ovezberdiyev, a resident of Kurenkala village in the Kurenkala Gengeshlik of the Kaahka District in Ahal Province, retired;
• Shadurdy Mammetgylydzhov, Guard of the 35,000 m³/day Desalination Station of the “Türkmenbaşyagyzsuw” Department of the “Balkanwelaýatagyzsuw” Association;
• Tagangeldy Ishanulyyev, a resident of Balkanabat city, Balkan Province, retired;
• Gurbanmammet Gurbannazarovich Esherov, a resident of Gumdag settlement in Balkanabat city, Balkan Province, retired;
• Kamil Sadullaevich Rozmetov, Chairman of the Agricultural Joint-Stock Company named after Sadulla Rozmetov in Shavat District, Dashoguz Province;
• Redzhep Dzhummulov, a resident of Annagara village in Deryalyk Gengeshlik, Kunyaurgench District, Dashoguz Province, retired;
• Annageldi Nazarovich Gurbansayyidov, a resident of Garaporsan village in Adalat Gengeshlik, Shavat District, Dashoguz Province, retired;
• Redzhepguly Meretgulyyevich Ovezov, Farmer of the "Lebap" Dayhan Association in Halach District, Lebap Province;
• Khudaykuly Babakulyyevich Ereshov, a resident of Turkmenabat city, Lebap Province, retired;
• Kurbanbay Rozybayev, a resident of Chandyr village in Khojalyk Gengeshlik, Darganata District, Lebap Province, retired;
• Annamyrat Khotdzhyev, Specialist at the Murghab District Department of Education, Mary Province, under the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan;
• Begmukhammet Annanurovich Khodzhaberdyev, a resident of the village named after J. Atadjanov in the Gengeshlik of the same name in Vekilbazar District, Mary Province;
• Bazar Nuryyevich Khodzhiev, a resident of Soyunalybeden village in Agzybirlik Gengeshlik, Yolotan District, Mary Province, retired.
