A Russian delegation led by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin arrived in Turkmenistan on a working visit. As part of his stay in Turkmenistan, the Russian politician visited Turkmenistan's first "smart" city, Arkadag.

The city's grand opening took place two years ago, but Arkadag has received a number of prestigious international awards and recognitions for its achievements in modern urban development. Here, Marat Khusnullin learned about the unique experience of Turkmen partners in the construction of technologically advanced residential buildings, schools, kindergartens, and comprehensive urban development.

During the cultural component of their visit to the "smart" city, the Russian delegation visited the Aba Annayev International Academy of Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding and the city circus, where the renowned Galkynysh Equestrian Group performed for the distinguished guests.

Marat Khusnullin expressed gratitude to his Turkmen colleagues for the warm welcome, openness, and informative program.
