The French Institute in Ashgabat invites cinema enthusiasts to enjoy a selection of unique French films to be screened in February. Throughout the month, viewers will have the opportunity to watch three captivating films with Russian subtitles.

The February film cycle will open with In Search of the Snow Leopard, which takes the audience to the heart of Tibet, where a team of researchers is attempting to unravel the mystery of the snow leopard's life—one of the rarest and most enigmatic animals on the planet.

On February 13 at 18:30, the screening of Such a Long Absence will take place. This film tells the story of how meetings and farewells change people's lives, and how even years of separation can be overcome through a single encounter.

On February 28, the French Institute will conclude the series with the screening of The Great Walk, a film that offers viewers a lighthearted atmosphere and prompts reflection on human values and the pursuit of happiness.

All films will be shown with Russian subtitles, making them accessible to a wider audience. The screenings will take place at: 69 A. Garriyev Street (formerly Sokolovskogo Street).
