On August 30, in the International Year of Peace and Trust, a reporting meeting was held in the central building of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan, dedicated to the results of work for eight months of 2025.

During the meeting, the tasks set for the oil and gas complex of the country were discussed, which were considered at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on August 29 in online mode under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, dedicated to the results of the national economy for eight months of the current year.

At the reporting meeting chaired by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov, the State Minister of Turkmenistan - Chairman of the State Concern "Türkmengaz" Maksat Babayev, Chairman of the State Concern "Türkmennebit" Guvanch Agazhanov, Chairman of the State Corporation "Türkmengeologiýa" Gurbangeldi Garlyev, as well as heads of associations, departments and enterprises of the complex spoke.

At the meeting, much attention was paid to the issues of increasing the production of oil, natural gas, gas condensate and liquefied gas in the country, the widespread use of the capabilities of the digital system in the activities of the complex, the activation of phased work at the Galkynysh gas field, the identification of promising new fields and formations, the effective development of international cooperation in an important sector of the national economy, the performance of work in accordance with weather conditions, improving the supply of enterprises and the population with natural gas, as well as other important areas.

Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Amanov emphasized the importance of constant monitoring of major projects in the oil and gas complex, timely implementation of production and development plans, continuation of the high-speed construction of the Serhetabat-Khyrat gas pipeline on the initiative of Hero Arkadag, ensuring the uninterrupted operation of enterprises in full, high-quality preparation for the winter season, as well as the development of the national fuel and energy system in accordance with the modern level.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov identified important tasks for the state concerns "Türkmengaz", "Türkmennebit" and the State Corporation "Türkmengeologiýa".

Ashyrguly Begliyev, Advisor to the President of Turkmenistan on Oil and Gas Issues, also took part in the reporting meeting.
