The start of the 2025 Turkmenistan Football Premier League is scheduled for March 4, according to the official website of the Football Federation.

The national trophy will be contested by 8 teams. Three clubs - Altyn Asyr, Ashgabat and Kopetdag - represent the capital. Nebitchi from Balkanabat and Shagadam from Turkmenbashi - Balkan velayat, Merv - Mary velayat, Ahal - Ahal velayat, and Arkadag - the nationally important city of the same name.

The 33rd Turkmenistan Football Championship among the clubs of the Premier League will start with the match between Ahal and Nebitchi. The next day, March 5, there will be two more matches: Altyn Asyr will host Ashgabat in the capital derby, and Merv will travel to visit Shagadam.
