Horse breeders from Turkmenistan and their Azerbaijani counterparts may begin working together to revive the art of breeding Akhal-Teke and Karabakh horse breeds. This initiative was announced by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, during his speech at the 12th Summit of the Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).
“We are making efforts to promote the carpet weaving traditions of our two nations, and we also foresee cooperation in reviving the ancient art of horse breeding, particularly of the Akhal-Teke and Karabakh breeds,” stated the National Leader of the Turkmen people.
The Hero-Arkadag expressed his confidence that these initiatives would significantly contribute to the development of cultural ties and proposed organizing similar activities with other brotherly nations as well.
