Students of the Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan have completed a two-week internship at the Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The training took place from July 14 to 28 within the framework of a cooperation agreement between the two universities.

 

Chinese colleagues prepared an intensive educational program for the Turkmen students. Future doctors attended lectures by leading professors of the Beijing University and participated in hands-on sessions to learn methods of traditional Chinese medicine—acupuncture, tuina massage, and phytotherapy. The internship took place in the university’s clinics under the guidance of experienced Chinese specialists.

 

The educational activities allowed the students to deepen their knowledge and gain additional professional skills in applying both classical and alternative methods of treatment and disease prevention.

 

As part of the cultural program, the participants visited thematic exhibitions and informative excursions introducing them to the traditions and history of ancient Chinese medicine.
