Students of the Oguz Khan Engineering and Technology University, Suleymanmuhammet Shamukhammedov and Aymurat Khalnazarov, won three gold medals at the Youth International Science Fair (YISF) in Indonesia. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
The Turkmen students presented their scientific research titled "Scientific Foundations for Producing Green Cement from Industrial Waste" under the guidance of university lecturer Atamurat Altyev. Their project earned them a gold medal in the "Environmental Protection" category, a special award from the Malaysian Young Scientists Organization (MYSO) for the best scientific work of 2025, and the "Semi Grand Award" from the Indonesian Young Scientists Association (IYSA).
The competition featured 446 teams from 24 countries and covered five areas: social sciences, ecology, biology, innovative sciences, and engineering. The international event served as a platform for showcasing scientific research and fostering international cooperation in education and innovation.
