Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography Annasahet Kakaev held an online meeting with the founder and CEO of the Georgian media holding and TV channel “Europe 24,” Vazha Medzmariashvili. The meeting, held on July 16, was facilitated by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia.
The head of the Georgian media holding presented a cooperation project aimed at covering key events in Turkmenistan and raising international awareness of the country’s role in the region and the world.
The agreement envisions the preparation of video materials, the organization of teleconferences, and joint broadcasts between the two republics. Special focus will be placed on major events such as the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries and the International Forum dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality.
The participants emphasized that the development of media cooperation will contribute to deeper mutual understanding, stronger cultural ties, and broader promotion of Turkmenistan’s achievements on the international stage.
