On October 20, professional development courses began at the Aman Kekilov Pedagogical School in Ashgabat. Representatives from the academic staff of Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University (NCSPU, Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation) will share their expertise with Turkmen educators, Takyk reports.

This is the third time the ten-day training courses are being held in Turkmenistan. The training programs are tailored to meet the current demands placed on the teaching profession.

The experience exchange will focus on several key areas, including inclusive education for children with developmental disabilities, assessing the quality of education in general education institutions under modern conditions, psychology and pedagogy of higher education, and more. Each topic will be supported by a specialized digital module aimed at enhancing the use of modern educational tools and methodologies.

Currently, Turkmenistan is placing strong emphasis on integrating international standards into its education system. As part of the agreement with NCSPU, active cooperation is underway in scientific and methodological fields, joint development of educational materials, and professional training.

Participants in the training program will include educators from institutions in Ashgabat, the city of Arkadag, various regions of the country, and several higher education institutions. In total, 300 national specialists will take part in the courses.
