On July 22, 2025, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan Babaniyaz Yalakov delivered a speech at the plenary session titled “Shaping a Regional Space of Trust, Partnership, and Friendship” held as part of the Central Asian Economic Forum (CAEF-2025) in Dushanbe.

The event brought together representatives of government bodies and business communities from Central Asian countries and Russia. Participants discussed the development of transport corridors, digital platforms, and the implementation of innovative technologies in industry and agriculture.

 

Specific areas of cooperation in the digital economy, logistics, industrial partnerships, and youth and educational exchanges were considered. Special attention was given to the role of humanitarian cooperation and the promotion of the Russian language.

 

At the conclusion of the plenary session, a Joint Declaration was signed, reaffirming the parties’ commitment to further deepening economic integration, expanding trade and economic ties, and jointly addressing global challenges.
