A delegation from the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan took part in the meeting of the heads of tourism departments of the member and observer states of the Organization of Turkic States, held on July 8–9, 2025, in the Turkish capital Ankara.

According to the online newspaper "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age", during the speeches, the Turkmen side emphasized that, thanks to the tireless efforts of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Turkmenistan’s friendly and brotherly relations with countries around the world are steadily strengthening.

The Turkmen representatives noted that, in accordance with the principles of the country’s policy of neutrality, great attention is being paid to expanding international cooperation in the field of tourism. Step-by-step measures are being implemented in the country to develop the tourism sector as an important driver of economic growth.

The efforts undertaken in Turkmenistan aim not only to expand domestic tourism and improve the quality of services, but also to foster the socio-economic development of the regions and to strengthen the country’s international reputation as an attractive tourism destination.
