At the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on July 25, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov presented President Serdar Berdimuhamedov with a plan to organize an international forum on digital education and artificial intelligence this August, as part of Turkmenistan’s ongoing cooperation with UNESCO.
The forum is planned to be held in a hybrid format, covering five thematic areas that encompass various aspects of artificial intelligence.
In addition to the August forum, the head of the foreign affairs agency informed the President about plans for Turkmenistan’s delegation to participate in the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference, which will take place this autumn in Samarkand.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the proposals aimed at further strengthening effective cooperation with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), and instructed the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs to carry out the necessary work.
