The delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the celebrations on the occasion of the announcement of the city of Aktau as the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2025.

The city of Aktau, located on the coast of the Caspian Sea in Kazakhstan, took over the baton of the cultural capital of the Turkic world from the Turkmen Anau, which honorably bore this high status in 2024.

The improvised ethnic town "Darkhan Dala" became an eloquent symbol of the unity and mutual respect of the Turkic peoples. In specially installed yurts, masters of folk crafts from the Turkic countries presented their art and original traditions.

As part of the ceremony, an exhibition of artists and skilled artisans from all TURKSOY countries was also opened.
