The Turkmenistan national physics team achieved outstanding results at the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO 2025), held in Paris, winning four medals and three special awards.

 

Silver medals were awarded to Aysenem Kakamyradova and Myahriaban Kakamyradova. Bronze medals went to Jumadurdy Nuriyev and Dovlet Annamuradov. Nurgeldi Annadurdyev received an Honorable Mention for his commendable performance at the Olympiad.

 

In addition to the medals, Turkmen students received prestigious individual awards. Aysenem Kakamyraadova won a special prize for the best result among female participants. Nurgeldi Annadurdyyev was honored with the international Thales STEM Award for exceptional talent in science and technology.

 

The Turkmen team also received the ITER Award for promoting the principles of diversity, highlighting not only the high academic level of Turkmen students but also the social significance of the country’s participation in international scientific competitions.
