Turkmenistan’s pavilion at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, has reached a significant milestone, welcoming its one-millionth visitor. Representatives of the Turkmen exhibition shared the news of this achievement.

"1,000,000 visitors – Thank you, Japan! Today we reached an incredible milestone – one million guests welcomed with our traditions, hospitality, and culture. This moment reminds us of the power of human connection. We look forward to welcoming many more!" the organizers noted.

The three-story pavilion was built by the Turkmen architectural and construction company “Belli.” Its architectural concept integrates Turkmenistan’s cultural heritage with modern technological solutions.

The first floor features an immersive space with a large spherical screen and a multimedia installation offering a virtual journey across the country. The second floor showcases achievements in energy, industry, healthcare, education, sports, and science, including an exhibit on medicinal plants used in traditional Turkmen medicine.

The third floor functions as a cultural center displaying authentic Turkmen carpets, traditional embroidery, and museum artifacts. A national restaurant also operates here, offering dishes of Turkmen cuisine.

The World Expo 2025 is being held from April 13 to October 13 on the artificial island of Yumeshima in Osaka Bay under the theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives.” Turkmenistan’s National Day was celebrated on April 14, when President Serdar Berdimuhamedov visited the pavilion.
