Turkmenistan's neutrality and political stability are crucial for foreign partners as a guarantee of long-term cooperation and serve as a system-forming foundation for the implementation of various investment projects. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Akhmet Gurbanov at the Turkmenistan Investment Forum (TIF 2025), according to a Takyk correspondent.
Gurbanov emphasized that the world is currently witnessing profound changes in the global economy, where stability and predictability are becoming paramount. In this context, the politician reiterated that Turkmenistan, by implementing its unique policy of creation, is a reliable partner for investors.
"Turkmenistan, thanks to its constructive policy of permanent neutrality, openness, and good-neighborliness, has established itself as a reliable partner in the international arena. This political stability is perceived by foreign partners as a guarantee of long-term cooperation and serves as a vital foundation for the implementation of investment projects in various sectors of the economy," Gurbanov stated.
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan also noted that the country's economic potential spans a wide range of areas. Turkmenistan is among the world's leaders in natural gas reserves and is consistently implementing projects that are important not only for the national economy but also for ensuring global energy security, among which the construction of the TAPI gas pipeline holds a special place, the diplomat emphasized.
