The annual RAK Biggest Weight Loss Challenge is kicking off in the UAE, offering participants up to 300 dirhams for each kilogram lost. The competition will run from February 21 to May 22.

This year, new categories have been introduced, including family, corporate, and school staff divisions. In addition to cash prizes, winners will receive vacation packages, gym memberships, and vouchers.

Dr. Raza Siddiqui, Executive Director of RAK Hospital, stated that the competition is attracting participants from different countries, and organizers plan to expand it further.

Last year, 18,000 people took part, with one participant losing 30 kg and winning 9,000 dirhams.
