The Hydrometeorology Service of the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan reports that hot weather will persist across the country throughout the current week. Despite generally clear conditions, short-term precipitation is possible in some regions by the end of the week.

Ashgabat is expected to have mostly clear skies, shifting to partly cloudy weather toward the weekend. Rain is possible in some areas. Temperatures will range from +23…+29°C at night to +36…+43°C during the day. Northwest winds may gust up to 16 m/s.

The Balkan and Ahal velayats will experience partly cloudy weather with possible rain. Daytime highs may reach up to +43°C, with winds strengthening to 17 m/s.

The Mary and Lebap velayats will remain mostly clear. Lebap may record the highest temperatures, reaching up to +44°C during the day.

Dashoguz velayat is expected to have similarly hot weather, with possible precipitation by the weekend. Wind gusts may reach up to 15 m/s.
