On July 30, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov paid a working visit to Balkan region. At the airport, the Honorable President was welcomed by officials of our country and expressed his sincere congratulations on the opening of the modernized Turkmenbashi International Airport.

Updating the country's civil aviation infrastructure and equipping it with the latest equipment are an integral part of large-scale programs implemented in the specialized sphere. A clear example of this is the modernization of the Turkmenbashi International Airport based on innovative technologies. It is also worth noting that the airport's passenger terminal, passport control points and security checkpoints are equipped with the latest equipment.

 

The head of state visited the airport's international passenger terminal and passport control point, passed through the airport's customs checkpoint and got acquainted with the modern conditions created here.

 

The head of the republic familiarized himself with the new equipment that arrived at the Turkmenbashi International Airport and, focusing on ensuring its proper operation and serviceability, gave a number of valuable recommendations.
