The editorial board of the newspaper "Turkmenistan" together with the National Center of Trade Unions and the Union of Women of Turkmenistan announced the beginning of the creative competition "Woman - the beauty of the Universe". The competition is dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust, the 34th anniversary of independence and the 30th anniversary of neutrality of the republic.

The purpose of the competition is to recognize the contribution of women to the development of Turkmenistan. Participants are invited to submit articles and essays about women who have made a significant contribution to the development of the country to the jury. Particular attention will be paid to mothers of many children who have raised eight or more children, honored workers in various fields, as well as craftswomen who pass on the traditions of national art and crafts to the younger generation.

All interested parties, regardless of age, are invited to participate in the competition. Works are accepted until March 1 at the editorial office of the newspaper "Turkmenistan". The results of the competition will be summed up and the winners will be awarded on International Women's Day - March 8.

The competition's organizers hope that it will not only become a platform for showcasing talents, but will also contribute to strengthening peace and trust in society, and will help preserve and popularize national traditions and values.
