AFC President: “Turkmen Football Is Developing at an Incredible Pace”

The President of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, highly praised the development of Turkmen football during a meeting with the Chairman of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan (FFT), Guvanchmuhammet Ovekov, held as part of the FFT head's working visit to Malaysia.

“Football in Turkmenistan continues to grow at an incredible pace, and the successful performance of teams in AFC tournaments is clear evidence of the Federation’s competent and focused work,” said Sheikh Salman, confirming AFC’s readiness to support the development of Turkmen football through specialized development programs.
