Ahmet Demirok: "Turkey attaches great importance to deepening cooperation with Turkmenistan"

Ankara attaches great importance to the development of relations with Ashgabat in all areas, said Turkish Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ahmet Demirok during an event dedicated to the Turkish Tourism Week.

"Our country attaches great importance to deepening cooperation with brotherly Turkmenistan in all areas. Cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries is also developing dynamically," the diplomat noted.

The ambassador recalled that during the official visit of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Turkey on October 26, 2023, 13 agreements were signed, including a document on cooperation in the field of culture, which entered into force on January 22, 2025.
