Bill Gates: “There are three professions not to be replaced by AI”
Bill Gates believes that artificial intelligence (AI) will displace people in many areas in the future, from manufacturing to agriculture. However, in his opinion, there are at least three professions that are not at risk.
The first is programmers. Despite the development of AI, it is people who will understand how it works and correct errors. “It’s like saying that you shouldn’t learn to multiply because there are calculators,” Gates noted.
The second is biologists. Although AI can analyze DNA and help in diagnostics, discoveries in science require human thinking and intuition.
The third is energy workers. According to Gates, this area is too complex and multi-layered for full automation.
He also suggested that thanks to AI, in the future people will only have to work 2-3 days a week. The rest of the time can be devoted to creativity or relaxation - unless, of course, technology takes that away.
