The IX Moscow International Arts Festival "Sounds of Dutar" named after Nury Khalmamedov has started in Moscow. The festival opened with a concert "Turkmen Nightingale", which was dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the birth of People's Artist Medeniet Shakhberdiyeva. This talented performer and experienced teacher made a huge contribution to the development of opera art.
The concert was traditionally held in the Art Gallery of the People's Artist of the USSR and the Russian Federation Zurab Tsereteli. Despite the abnormally cold weather for April - snow and blizzard, the hall was full. Representatives of the Embassy of Turkmenistan, creative and scientific intelligentsia, and the Moscow Turkmen diaspora came here.
"Turkmen Nightingale" Medeniet Shakhberdiyeva was a muse for an entire generation of composers. Her vocal talent and the charm of an extraordinary personality had a profound effect on composer Mamed Guseinov, the founder of the festival "Sounds of Dutar". The concert featured rising stars from leading creative universities, recognized soloists of Moscow theaters, jury members and close friends of the Moscow International Arts Festival "Sounds of Dutar" named after Nury Khalmamedov.
