As part of the World Expo 2025, held in Osaka, Japan, a festive event dedicated to the 34th anniversary of the country's Independence was held at the National Pavilion of Turkmenistan on September 1.
The purpose of the event was to widely present to the world community the rich cultural heritage of the Turkmen people, exquisite carpet art and national costumes. Particular attention was paid to the achievements of the Turkmen textile industry.
The guests of the exhibition got acquainted with the beauty of Turkmen carpets, the symbolism of national ornaments, as well as the modern level of development of textile products. During the event, speeches were made dedicated to the achievements of Turkmenistan in the field of textile industry and carpet weaving.
One of the highlights was the presentation of Turkmen national costumes. Modern models in traditional style, prepared by the Fashion House of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan, aroused great interest among the audience.
The event also included a master class on Turkmen carpet art. Guests learned about the intricacies of carpet weaving, the meaning of ornaments and carpet weaving traditions.
The festive events made a significant contribution to the development of international cultural cooperation and the wide recognition of the rich spiritual and cultural heritage of the Turkmen people in the world.
