The Marvel Cinematic Universe is preparing for the culmination of the Multiverse Saga, which may lead to a soft reboot. This was indirectly confirmed by the directors of the film "Avengers: Secret Wars" Joe and Anthony Russo.

The Russo brothers returned to the Marvel Universe and are working on "Avengers: Doomsday" and "Secret Wars". If "Avengers 5" is not delayed, the crossovers will be released a year apart.

The film may introduce a new team of X-Men. Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige previously confirmed that mutants will be the focus after "Secret Wars".

The premiere is scheduled for May 6, 2027.
