In Turkmenistan, the results of the national competition among the country's theaters called "Mähre doly eneleriň ýüregi" were summed up.
The play "Kärizgenler" of the State Drama Theater named after Aman Gulmamedov of the city of Arkadag was recognized as the best. The theater was awarded the main prize "For the best play", according to the Turkmen press.
The Main Academic Drama Theater named after Saparmurat Turkmenbashi received a prize in the nomination "For the best acting performance".
The National Drama Theater named after Alp-Arslan was awarded prizes for "For the wide popularization of national traditions in stage creativity" and "For the excellent performance of young artists".
The State Musical and Drama Theater named after Seyitnazar Seydi received an award "For the best production about the heroism of women in history" and "For the best historical costumes in the play".
Special awards were given to: the State Russian Drama Theatre named after A.S. Pushkin "For the wide promotion of women's poetic creativity", the Turkmen State Puppet Theatre - "For innovation in scenography", the Mollanepes Student Theatre of Turkmenistan - "For the skill of young artists in the play", the State Drama Theatre named after Aman Gulmammedov of the city of Arkadag "For the original musical design of the play" and "For the play that won the love of the audience".
The winning theatres were awarded diplomas from the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, certificates of honor and gifts from the National Center of Trade Unions.
Incentive awards were also presented to individual theatre figures who distinguished themselves in the creative competition.
