On August 14, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with the Ambassador of Japan to the country Hiroshi Sasaki.

The parties paid special attention to issues related to Turkmen-Japanese cooperation.

The diplomats noted the importance of visits at the highest and high levels in the further promotion of interstate relations. In this context, the parties discussed the schedule of meetings, both in bilateral and multilateral formats, for the near future.
