President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree authorizing the Ministry of Education to conclude contracts with Agzybirlik tilsimaty and Aýdyň gijeler for the purchase of more than 142 thousand Turkmen laptops, TDH reports.

According to the document, all first-graders of the 2025-2026 academic year will receive domestically produced laptops as a gift.

Earlier, at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on March 20, Deputy Prime Minister B. Orazdurdyeva reported on preparations for the presentation of computers to first-graders. It was noted that in the International Year of Peace and Trust, it is planned to provide 142,698 students entering first grade with Bilimli brand laptops.
