The opening ceremony of the National Days of Friendly States was held in the theatrical interactive complex of sea fountains located in the Avaza National Tourist Zone within the framework of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries. The event was attended by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and heads of delegations of the states participating in the International Conference.

 

The current event has become an effective platform for the development of cultural diplomacy aimed at further strengthening relations between fraternal countries and familiarizing them with the history and rich cultural heritage of their peoples.

 

On the shores of ancient Khazar, a theatrical literary and musical performance dedicated to the unique Caspian Sea was performed.

 

Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and heads of high-level delegations got acquainted with the exhibition, deployed in the theatrical interactive complex of sea fountains. The Turkmen pavilion presented environmentally friendly and high-quality vegetables, fruits, greens and berries grown in the favorable climatic conditions of the country, which indicates the successful implementation of modern agricultural technologies aimed at increasing crop yields and preserving natural resources.

 

The stand dedicated to the decorative and applied arts of our country reflects the rich cultural heritage of the Turkmen people, presenting unique works of artisans, artists, jewelers and wood carvers, made using ancient technologies.

 

The exhibition pays special attention to the preservation and popularization of national cultural heritage, as well as the role of decorative and applied arts in modern society. The exhibition reflects the subtleties of design and production, harmoniously combining ancient national traditions with modern technologies.

 

Then the distinguished guests got acquainted with the exhibits of the fraternal states and Turkmenistan.

 

The exhibition, having become a vivid symbol of the bridge between the past and the present, opens up new opportunities for activating cultural ties.

 

Performances by artists from friendly states also took place at the exhibition sites of each country.

 

During their tour of the exhibition, the event participants watched the preparation of national dishes by master chefs from the participating countries, viewed displays of vegetable and melon crops, examples of decorative and applied art, as well as unique features of the decor of white yurts.

 

At a specially designated area for participating countries on the exhibition grounds, guests were offered to taste dishes prepared by chefs. All this contributed to familiarization with the richness and diversity of culinary traditions of friendly countries, as well as their history, culture and way of life, through the prism of national cuisine.

 

The exhibition of national cuisines of fraternal states, in addition to demonstrating dishes, is also dedicated to their significance as an important part of the intangible cultural heritage of these peoples. In each country, various dishes are associated with special traditions, holidays and customs of hospitality. They are not only food, but also an important part of social life, a symbol of unity and mutual respect, a means of preserving culinary heritage and strengthening ties between generations.

 

Within the framework of the exhibition, special importance was attached to the exposition of works of decorative and applied art of friendly states. The current show has become a unique cultural event, uniting rich traditions and modern creativity of the participating countries. Painting, sculpture, textile products, ceramics, jewelry, as well as works of crafts reflecting the centuries-old heritage and national culture of the peoples are presented here.

 

Guests had the opportunity to see magnificent examples of decorative and applied arts and crafts of the East, national patterns, carpet products, tools made of wood and metal, decorative items, samples of ornaments created by ancient masters, as well as those made in a modern style. A national white yurt was installed at the exhibition site of each country.

 

The exhibition not only showcases the artistic achievements of the participating countries, but also creates favourable conditions for dialogue between artists, researchers and art lovers. The exhibition is also of particular importance in terms of preserving intangible cultural heritage. The popularisation of these craft traditions contributes to their introduction into contemporary art and design.

 

Overall, the exhibition of decorative and applied art works from friendly countries united the past and the present, becoming an important step towards further strengthening cultural ties, mutual understanding and cooperation between peoples.

 

Then Hero-Arkadag and the heads of delegations visited the exhibition area of Turkmenistan.

 

Here, the guests watched performances by masters of culture and art of our country, got acquainted with the technique of preparing national dishes based on the book of the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan “Bereketli türkmen saçagy”, as well as with an exhibition of fruit and vegetable crops, with examples of decorative and applied art.

 

The works of decorative and applied art, national handicraft traditions were also presented here. The exhibition exposition includes national costumes, jewelry, paintings, which provide an opportunity to appreciate the historical and modern achievements of Turkmenistan, the values created by the Turkmen people, and also to get acquainted with the comprehensive development of our country.

 

Carpets and carpet products, works of embroidery art occupy a special place at the exhibition. Here, the attention of guests was attracted by the products and work of skilled craftswomen

 

The exhibition also features Turkmen national musical instruments – dutar, gidzhak, gopuz, gargy tuyduk, which aroused great interest among distinguished guests.

 

Further, following the traditions of Turkmen hospitality, Hero-Arkadag and the heads of delegations were invited to a table in the yurt "Ak öý", specially installed at the exhibition site of Turkmenistan. Here, the distinguished guests were offered dishes of Turkmen national cuisine.

 

Then the National Leader of the Turkmen people and the heads of high-level delegations proceed to a specially designated place to participate in an official dinner in honor of the participants of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, as well as to watch a concert of cultural and artistic figures from fraternal states.

 

The concert opened with the literary and musical composition “Waspnama – Arkadagym, Arkadagly Serdarym”. The performance of the folklore ensemble “Dokmaçylar” praised the grand achievements of our country, confidently moving towards new heights of progress thanks to the noble undertakings of the Hero-

Arkadag and under the wise leadership of the President of Turkmenistan.

 

A special flavor was given to the concert by the song based on the poems of Hero Arkadag “Türkmenistan – parahatçylygyň we ynanyşmagyň Watany”, which sounded like an expression of pride for our peacekeeping Motherland, every day of which is marked by great achievements and labor successes.

 

The concert program continued with performances by pop singers and dance groups from friendly countries, which allowed for a unique excursion into the countries of their performers. The songs performed in Azerbaijani, Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Tajik, Uzbek, Russian, English, Spanish, French and Arabic made a great impression on the audience. Stormy applause became a sign of high appreciation of the talent and creative skill of the performers.

 

Songs, music and dance numbers were accompanied by videos telling about the sights and beauty of cities around the world, about the traditions, cultural and spiritual values of different peoples, and also dedicated to the development of friendly and fraternal relations.

 

A special place in the concert program was occupied by the performances of the People's Artist of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan Polat Bulbul oglu and the People's Artist of Uzbekistan, Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov.

 

The festive concert continued with the Kushtdepdi dance, a unique example of folk art, which is included in the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage of humanity. Kushtdepdi, reflecting the harmony of historical and cultural traditions and the spiritual world of our people, is today enriched with new content.

 

Then the concert participants performed the song "Awazanyň kenary – dost-doganlyk mekany" together. The bright and spectacular performance emphasized the commonality of spiritual and cultural values and the creative power of the creative unity of fraternal peoples.

 

At the end of the concert, there was a spectacular light and music show created by the harmonious movements of interactive sea fountains.

 

A colorful fireworks display illuminated the night sky with bright flashes, becoming a kind of culmination of current events.
