On March 18, 2025, the IV Open International Internet Olympiad on the subject of "Strength of Materials" was held at the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering with the participation of students from universities of Turkmenistan and foreign countries.

The Olympiad was attended by 895 students from 117 higher education institutions in 18 countries, including Azerbaijan, Australia, the USA, Belarus, Armenia, Iran, Fiji, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Russia, Romania, Turkey and Uganda. Of this number, 665 participants represented foreign universities.

The jury included professors and teachers of foreign universities. The event also included an exhibition of research and design works prepared by teachers and students of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering.
