In accordance with the "Memorandum of Understanding" signed between the "Turkmenistan" Airlines Open Joint Stock Company and the Turkish Aeronautical Association University of the Republic of Turkey on March 1, 2024 in Antalya, within the framework of the working visit of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the Republic of Turkey, the Executive Body (Management Group) of the "Turkmenistan" Airlines Open Joint Stock Company held a meeting on April 10, 2025. The meeting discussed the issue of training pilots for Turkmenistan's civil aviation at the Turkish Aeronautical Association University of the Republic of Turkey for the 2025-2029 academic years.
In this regard, the meeting discussed the steps to be taken in selecting candidates for the 4-year pilot program at the Turkish Aeronautical Association University of the Republic of Turkey, the procedures to be followed, the procedure for selecting candidates and the main requirements for them, the list of official documents to be accepted from them and their acceptance dates, as well as the dates for the entrance exams.
Based on the above, in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Turkish Aeronautical Association University of the Republic of Turkey and the “Turkmenistan” Airlines” Open Joint Stock Company, in order to train pilots for the civil aviation of Turkmenistan at the Turkish Aeronautical Association University, examinations were held by several experts of the said university between July 14 and 18, 2024 with the participation of the Rector of the Turkish Aeronautical Association University of the Republic of Turkey. As a result of the examinations, 3 (three) candidates were selected and sent to study at the said university. Similarly, examinations were held between August 04 and 6, 2025 with the participation of the Rector of the Turkish Aeronautical Association University of the Republic of Turkey by several experts of the said university. As a result of the examinations, 4 (four) candidates were selected and accepted.
