On September 18, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the participants of the Exhibition of Economic Achievements on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the republic's independence, the International Year of Peace and Trust.

"I am confident that this exhibition, held to familiarize the international community with the successes and high achievements achieved over the 34 years of sacred independence – the sovereignty of the invincible Turkmen state – will be a great success.

Achievements in the country's socioeconomic development are the unshakable foundation for building a bright future. Therefore, we attach particular importance to the continued stable development of the economy. Large industrial complexes equipped with advanced technologies are being built, and work to modernize all sectors and transition to a digital system is successfully continuing," Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized.

"Our domestic and foreign policies, focused on peace, creation, and development, as well as noble deeds for the Fatherland, the people, and all of humanity, successfully implemented initiatives of international significance, and fundamental reforms are aimed at a great goal – the comprehensive and harmonious development of our sovereign state.

We will continue to carry out important work to ensure our country's confident progress along the path of reform. We are fully implementing our policy of transforming our sovereign homeland into one of the most powerful nations in the world," the head of state noted.
