In 2030, Muslims will celebrate Ramadan twice, a rare occurrence due to the difference between the solar (Gregorian) and lunar (Islamic) calendars.

The first Ramadan will begin on January 5, 2030, and the second on December 26 of the same year. This means that Muslims will have to fast for a total of 36 days during the year. Such coincidences occur approximately once every 30 years, and the last time two Ramadans fell in the same year was in 1997. The next time, according to astronomers' calculations, this will happen in 2063.

Interestingly, both Ramadan months in 2030 will fall in winter.
