A group of students and lecturers from the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas has departed for an educational visit to the Petronas Technology University in Malaysia for training and professional development. The news was reported by the official website of Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Education.

The visit is being organized within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2024 between the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas and Petronas.

The Turkmen representatives will attend specialized training sessions on the development of new technologies, implementation of digital technologies, and artificial intelligence in industrial processes. They will also become familiar with the educational structure of Petronas Technology University, its laboratories, training centers, research activities, and the company’s production facilities.

The educational and practical program includes two weeks of academic training and one week of professional development.
