Canadian company Bombardier has announced the launch of the Global 8000 business jet, which will become the fastest production aircraft in its class. The aircraft will take to the skies in the second half of 2025, Interesting Engineering reports.

It will be able to reach speeds of up to 1,152 kilometers per hour and fly at an altitude of 12,500 meters. The flight range will be 14,816 kilometers.

The Global 8000 is designed for 19 passengers and is not suitable for mass transportation. However, it will provide comfort on board. Inside, there will be four living areas, two bathrooms, and a rest area for the crew. The main suite has a bed and a shower.

Bombardier has previously announced plans to create fast aircraft. The Global 8000 will be an important step in this direction. It will be the fastest production business jet in the world.
