On April 6, in Tashkent, the delegation of Turkmenistan headed by the Chairperson of the Mejlis Dunyagozel Gulmanova held a number of meetings within the framework of the 150th anniversary Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union. This was reported by the press service of the Turkmen parliament.

During the meetings with the Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia Valentina Matviyenko, the Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Natalya Kochanova, the Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan T. Narbaeva, the efforts of the heads of state in strengthening interstate relations were noted.

The parties also spoke about the importance of such meetings for exchanging experience in legislative activity and further developing inter-parliamentary dialogue.

During the meetings, the Chairperson of the Mejlis Gulmanova invited all interlocutors to events in honor of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality, which is celebrated in the country in December 2025.
